Someone took a screwdriver to my sister-in-law's 1997 Honda CRV in front of our house and ruined the lock. I reached out to Benjamin for help and he gave me an immediate quote via text, ordered the new part, and showed up on time to swap things out. This was all taken care of within the week. He was even able to rekey the replacement car lock so she could use her old key. He threw in a brand new key + lubricated all of the locks for free. I needed my ignition tumbler replaced and I didn't want to go to a dealership not only because of their prices but availability. Not only did Benjamin answer his phone within a ring or two but he met up with me within 10 minutes and get a great job and not only did I get that fixed but I also decided to purchase a spare key for my truck as well. I have never gone through a locksmith before and after my experience with BDS I think this is the way that I will go from now on. Ben was great! I needed his help to program a 2nd keyless entry fob for my minivan. We coordinated by Google Business Messages text, where we discussed the make, model, and scheduling. He was super responsive by text and answered all my questions, before I committed to scheduling appointment. He was willing to come over immediately, but I wasn't in a rush. We scheduled for a convenient time, and Ben observed social distance in my driveway. Ben wore a mask, and completed the task within 15 minutes, including cutting the spare key. Felt super safe. The tech copied a lost key for me. But didn't explain that if I found the old one, using it would disable the car. I called him back stranded down town. He said it would be difficult to get down here and not possible to fix without his diagnostic equipment. After waiting for this guy for an hour I decided to check it out myself. Google had a procedure that fix it for free and with out any specialized tools. Hhmmm

We were locked out Friday afternoon. Sent a request on Yelp. Benjamin was first to respond. He immediately gave the quote 95$ and when I asked for ETA responded quickly as 30 mins. He arrived faster than the estimated time. It took about 3-5 mins to unlock without breaking any part. He verified my ID before doing the work. He gave me choice of Venmo , zelle, cash for payment options. I paid him via zelle using phone.

Was visiting San Jose and managed to lose THE ONLY keys to my friends Toyota Prius.
